Blepharoplasty in Cancun: cost, recovery and risks

← Back to Medical Guide

What is blepharoplasty?

Blepharoplasty is eyelid surgery that may remove or reposition tissue after an individual assessment. It can address excess upper-eyelid skin and some lower-eyelid bags; it does not eliminate every wrinkle or replace treatment of other facial areas.

How much does blepharoplasty cost in Cancun?

Cost depends on upper, lower or both eyelids, professional fees, anesthesia and the surgical facility. Request a current itemized quote; expired promotional rates should not be treated as current.

How long is recovery?

Swelling and bruising commonly last one to two weeks, but individual recovery varies. Your surgeon will advise on exercise, work and travel.

What are the risks?

Risks include bleeding, infection, scarring, dry eyes, asymmetry and, rarely, vision changes. A consultation should review your medical and eye history.

Who may be a candidate?

Suitability depends on anatomy, symptoms, overall health and realistic goals. Not every drooping eyelid requires surgery.

Where care takes place

Medical aesthetics consultations and non-surgical treatments take place at THE CLINIK. Appropriate ICE LASER SCULPT treatments are performed in its procedure room. All surgical operations, without exception, are performed at external hospitals—not at THE CLINIK. Postoperative follow-up is coordinated according to each patient’s care plan.
